If you live and breathe digital marketing, we want to talk to you. We are looking for a Social and Digital Marketing Intern ready to dive in and get some hands-on experience at a growing Nashville consumer products company. We have two brands: a tenured brand, FrostGuard (FrostGuard.us) and a newly launched brand, MYCHANIC (MYCHANIC.com) and would love to see and hear your ideas for the online presence of these two brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute content and strategy for two very different consumer product brands
  • Monitor and provide analytics on various social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest
  • Provide a social content calendar for the fall and through the holiday season
  • Contribute strategy to digital advertising campaigns, with a total budget of $60,000
  • Support customer inquiries and comments received through social media as a result of the digital advertising
  • Help manage the back-end of two eCommerce websites (mychanic.com and frostguard.us) and one content website (Delk.us)
  • Work with influencers and bloggers on earned media placements for FrostGuard
  • Help the team prepare for our most significant tradeshow of the year
  • Provide reporting on available metrics as delineated by the eCommerce Manager, (IE: site traffic, conversion metrics, etc.)
  • Help curate and appropriately name/file assets to support the brands products
  • Internship will culminate with a presentation to senior leadership on above mentioned contributions

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Desire to become an expert in social media management
  • Mad project management skills – able to stay focused and multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication – whether via email or presentation
  • Discerning eye for curating content and proficiency in copy writing
  • Excellent grammatical skills
  • Entrepreneurial and can-do mindset
  • Digital content management experience, with a solid understanding of user generated content is a plus, but not required
  • Applicants are preferred to be a Marketing undergraduate or graduate major
