Marketing + Customer Experience

If you understand how marketing, branding and customer experience and incredibly interwoven, we may be looking for you. Your ability to help connect the dots and manage projects cheerfully and attentively has a powerful opportunity to drive the success of a fast-moving small company.

THE ROLE IS THREE-FOLD:

1. Social Media

Do you love all things social? We do too! We are looking for someone to be the voice for our two brands (MYCHANIC and FrostGuard), both from a content creation and audience engagement perspective. Creating fun, on brand, on voice content, supported with awesome images and videos to drive awareness, interaction and ultimately sales.

2. Brand Asset Management

Our goal is for every product to launch with a full set of assets, enabling our sales and marketing teams to take them to market quickly. You would be the primary steward of our asset library, including renders, sell sheets, photography, video, sales decks and copy. When changes happen, you know all the assets impacted and make sure the update gets done quickly and accurately.

3. Customer Experience

We fall on a sword for service. We need someone to answer customer questions with patience, kindness and a friendly dose of personality. Inquiries may come in through phone, email or social media, but we need someone to listen to all channels and make sure not one inquiry goes unresolved.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating and scheduling social media posts – engage and interact with social comments and direct messages
  • Support our advertising strategy and execution, including commercial campaigns, print ads and influencer marketing
  • Playing a key role in both large and small video and photography projects, including shot lists, location scouting, talent approval and onsite support
  • Managing a library of brand assets for all active products and curating assets for specific sales requests
  • Support our sales team with our shopping network customers (QVC, HSN, TSC, etc.) to drive on air success
  • Managing customer questions regarding products or order status in a timely and friendly manner. Approximately 75 monthly inquiries come in from February to October, with an increase to 400 per month from November to January.
  • Support 2-3 market research projects each year, including customer profiling, demographics, customer surveys and product beta testing
  • Manage the registration, travel, marketing, supplies and budget of approximately 5-8 B2C + national shows (travel to 1-3 shows each year likely)
  • Support DELK company culture activities such as happy hours, special meals and offsite activities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in managing social media content
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing related function
  • Customer service experience preferred
